Join the Committee
Telephonists are ready to receive calls from our clients and arrange a driver from our rota for the relevant date and time.
Each day, one of our volunteers is the duty telephonist, and commits to being available in their own home to receive calls, from 10am to 1pm. Calls are redirected from our Village Care number, so no telephonist has to give their personal contact details.
Telephonists are typically on-duty once every four weeks, or on an ad-hoc basis if you prefer, so the time commitment is minimal and can be organised to suit you.

Each day we have a rota of volunteer drivers available, with all rides organized at least two days ahead of time so you can plan the rest of your day.
Drivers are typically on the rota for one day every four weeks, or as an occasional driver if you prefer.
We always welcome more drivers to our team, and there is no obligation to commit to driving at times or dates that don’t suit you.
