Penn and Tylers Green Village Care

Penn and Tylers Green Village Care was founded in 1986 to help anyone in the village in need of practical help with going out of the house.

 

We are a team of some fifty volunteer drivers and twenty-five volunteer telephonists, who take calls from our registered clients in Penn and Tylers Green, Penn Bottom, Penn Street and Winchmore Hill who want to be taken from their homes to various destinations.

 

We take our clients to all sorts of local destinations, such as hospitals, surgeries, supermarkets, hairdressers and local shops.

Our clients can be anyone in the area who needs a lift, young and old. Our only limitation is the ability of some of our drivers to handle wheelchairs.

 

We also use our funds to support the local community in the relief of sickness, distress or hardship and in the promotion of education.
